Ordering custom stickers should be easy!

Once you've decided on your material, it's time to dive into the details. This guide breaks down the process step-by-step, helping you choose the right options for a perfect final product.

    1. Select The Right Sticker Size

Size is about how and where your brand will be seen. If you choose a size that's too small, your message gets lost; too large, and it becomes impractical to peel and stick.

    • 1" – 2": They are best used as packaging seals, phone camera covers, or discrete branding on small items like jars or electronics.
    • 2" – 3": This is our most popular range for a reason. It’s the universal standard for laptop stickers, water bottles, and notebook covers.
    • 4" – 5": These are the go-to for event giveaways and tablet decals. If you want your sticker to be readable from 5-10 feet away at a trade show or on a backpack, this is your size.
    • 6" and Larger: Reserved for car bumpers, shop windows, or wall graphics.

    2. Choose the Right Sticker Finish

Once you've selected your size, the finish is what determines the "vibe" of your sticker.

The finish doesn't just change the look, it also changes how the light interacts with your colors and how the sticker feels in your hand.

    Matte Finish: Soft & Minimalist

Matte finish offers a soft-touch, slightly textured surface that feels incredibly premium.

    • Best for: Minimalist designs, organic brands, "Indie" aesthetics, and luxury packaging.

    • The Aesthetic: Matte provides a muted, refined visual tone. It eliminates harsh glares, making it the perfect choice for Instagram-friendly products. Because there’s no reflection, your design remains perfectly readable under bright office lights or camera flashes.

    Glossy Finish: Vibrant & High-Impact

Glossy finish is all about maximum impact. It creates a smooth, reflective surface that makes colors pop with incredible intensity.

    • Best for: High-energy brands, bold logos, and illustrative designs.

    • The Aesthetic: If your design features neon colors, deep blacks, or heavy saturation, glossy makes them look "wet" and high-end. It adds a crisp contrast that naturally draws the eye.

    3. Choose the Sticker Quantity

You may be confused by questions like,

    "How many should I order?"

    "What’s the minimum?"

"Why does the price suddenly drop when I add more quantity?"

To clarify these issues, you need to have a quick understanding of MOQ and Bulk Order.

    MOQ

MOQ is just a fancy way of saying "Minimum Order Quantity." Most places force you to buy in bulk, but not Sticker Kiko.

We know that when you're trying something new, you don't want to be buried in boxes of stickers you aren't sure about yet.

Our No MOQ service is designed for creators who want to "test the waters" first. Get one or two vinyl stickers as sample, perfect your design, and move fast - all without the financial risk of a massive order.

    Bulk Orders

Once you're confident, bulk is where you start saving. Printing has setup costs. That's why the unit price drops when quantity goes up.

    Sample Pack Testing

A sample pack is also a good choice to help you confirm the following things:

    1. Printing Quality: What your stickers look like in the real world, not in laptop-world
    2. Sticker Performance: Matte vs gloss; white vinyl vs special material
    3. Material Durability: Waterproof/ UV-resistant/ Scratch-resistant or not

    4. Upload Artwork & File

When come into this step, it is important to prepare your file ready.

    File Format

    We accept most file formats.

To ensure high-quality production, prioritize PDF, AI, or EPS files to keep vector edges sharp, or use PNG if you need transparency. Most importantly, aim for 300 DPI.

    Bleed

To avoid unwanted white edges, make sure your background colors, patterns, or full-coverage artwork extend at least 1/8" (0.125") past the cut line. This way, even if the cut moves slightly, your sticker still prints cleanly edge-to-edge.

    Cut Line

To ensure your design looking balanced, keep important text and logos at least 1/16" (0.0625") inside the cut line (safe zone).

    5. Choose Proofing Options

Proofing is the step that decides when your order goes into production and how much you want to double-check before printing.

    Option 1: Print ASAP

Choose "Print ASAP" if your design is simple, repeat, or already confirmed. This is the fastest turnaround because we send your order straight to production.

    Best For:

    • Reorders (same artwork as before)

    • Simple designs with no tight borders or tiny text

    • When speed matters most

    Option 2: Free Proof

Choose "Get a free proof" before printing if you want to review placement, cut line, and details before production starts.

This option is recommended when you’re not 100% sure, especially for new designs.

    Best For:

    • First-time orders

    • Designs with borders, small text, or details near the edge

    • Custom die-cut shapes

    • When accuracy matters more than speed

    6. Add to Cart & Checkout

This is the easy part—until you realize your cart has the wrong finish, the wrong size, or an old artwork file attached. A 20-second check here can save days later.

    Step 1: Review Cart Details

In your cart, confirm these match what you want printed:

    • Product (e.g., Die Cut Stickers)

    • Size (example: 3" × 3")

    • Finish (Matte or Glossy)

    • Proofing option (Print ASAP or Free Proof)

    • Quantity (use the quantity dropdown to adjust)

    • Artwork link / Preview (make sure it’s the correct final file)

    Step 2: Use "Order Comments"

The Order comments box is where you can add anything production should know.

    For examples:

    • "Please keep corners rounded."

    • "This is a reorder—match my previous cut line."

    • "Please contact me if the file quality is too low."

    • "Border is intentional—please keep it even."

If you have a preference, write it here. It's the simplest way to prevent misunderstandings.

    Step 3: Checkout

    1. Enter email + shipping address

    2. Choose a shipping method

    3. Add a discount code (if you have one)

    4. Review the order summary one last time
